After Action Report and Results for deployment 1 Nov 2008
1800hrs November 1, 2008 – Afghanistan Turin Khot Valley – Danger and Engage Platoons
Welcome gentlemen. Australian SAS have been tracking a number of bomb makers moving through our AO over the past few months. They have asked for our assistance in gathering further INTEL in the next 24hrs starting with a number of tasks to be performed tonight.
Your teams will be move out from the FOB on foot to respective starting positions. Danger will operate to the East while Engage operated in the West. Once given the green light to move out, you are to move on your 1st objective and locate and observe 2 possible actionable INTEL items. Once HQ has enough information, you are to then move on to the next objective and do the same. When HQ approves all the INTEL received, you are to EXFIL from the AO back to the FOB on foot.

* We need the make, model and registration of a white ute that arrived a few days ago. We believe this may be the transport for one of the high profile targets on our list.
* We picked up strong signals from the area this morning and need you to locate and report in a description of any electronic surveillance equipment in and around that site.
Objective Zeus at AA16
* Reported weapons cache site. Locate and report numbers and types of weapons located. You also need to report numbers of personnel and weapons if being defended or watched.
Enemy
Watch you ROE. You are unsupported in this operation so you need to use stealth and superior tactics. Any losses will be completely unacceptable. Return fire only if you have to.

INFIL at X19 and EXFIL at V23 will be by foot from FOB Robertson.
CASEVAC is available on request and is designated “Chester 1”.
